2D Drafting Questions
I have a drawing in 2D draft created from a DXF import. The drawing has one layer but the various sub sections are distinguished by colour. Is there a way to select entities by colour?
How do I change arrowheads
I have created a 2D drawing on the 2D Model sheet which has some dimensions placed on some of the geometry. When I place 2D Views on the working sheet I would like these dimensions to be hidden. How can this be done?
How can I create threads in a 2D drawing? Do I need to draw them individually every time or is there a way to store them in some sort of library, like a block?
I am creating a pure 2D drawing and would like to know how to scale the views onto the drawing sheet
I would like to quickly select certain 2d elements in a 2d drawing. For example select all lines that are hidden detail or the same colour.
In a 2D drawing is it possible to change the order of geometry so the certain content can be moved in front or behind other content? This is very much like using commands like 'Bring to Front' and 'Send to Back' in Microsoft Word or similar. I cannot seem to find these in Solid Edge. I am using ST2
In 2D model when drawing or moving an element, I want to reference the position to an existing element. In 3D sketching this is done by hovering over a part of the existing element (end, centre, etc.) and a dotted line appears to show that the new elements will start on the same X or Y plane. This doesn’t seem to happen when drawing a 2D model. I am sure it is there so how do I turn this on please?
