Here are the Part Modelling videos and tutorials from the Solid Edge Synchronous Migration training course.

Part Modelling - Part One - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to start looking at constructing part models using Synchronous mode. This is the first part modelling session which will introduce some of the concepts of Synchronous modelling and look at some of the basic commands such as extrude and revolve along with all their options. We will also cover the use of the Synchronous hole and thread commands. This will introduce the concept of procedural features which are unique to Synchronous Technology.

The above is a short overview of the Solid Edge tutorial Part Modelling - Part One - Synchronous Migration.

Part Modelling - Part Two - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the second session which will introduce profile based procedural features with the helix command as well as look at some other considerations that need to be made for other complex features such as Loft and Sweep. You will also learn about Synchronous rounding, reordering rounds, blending, chamfers, thin wall and adding draft.

Part Modelling - Part Three - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the third session which will focus on Synchronous reference planes and coordinate systems and covers the creation and editing of both. You will also learn how to differentiate between traditional features and synchronous face sets and their importance in Synchronous modelling. In addition to this the training also covers the creation of user defined face sets and rules when attempting to delete geometry.

Part Modelling - Part Four - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the fourth session which will focus on Synchronous editing capabilities. This will focus heavily on the subject of the Steering Wheel which is one of the main edit tools used to manipulate geometry in the Synchronous mode. All aspects of the Steering Wheel will be covered. You will also learn about Live Rules and how they control other geometry during an edit by maintaining any strong geometric conditions that are found in the model.

Part Modelling - Part Five - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the fifth session which will focus on the subject of 3D PMI dimensions and how they can be used to control and edit a Synchronous part model. The training video will also cover using the relate function in order to adjust model faces so that faces are aligned and positioned correctly according to the design intent. All of the different relate functions will be covered.

Part Modelling - Part Six - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the sixth session which will focus on the subject of reusing existing geometry by using the mirror command as well as some functions which are unique to Synchronous editing with the Steering Wheel. The feature library along with copy and paste will be covered too. You will also learn how geometry can be detached and attached in order to accommodate more complex edit scenarios.

Part Modelling - Part Seven - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the seventh session which will cover the vast array of patterning capabilities within the Synchronous mode. The workflow and functionality within Synchronous patterning is very different to patterning within the ordered mode. As such, this training video covers all aspects of patterning and ensures you are getting the most out of these tools.

Part Modelling - Part Eight - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the eighth which will focus on some additional miscellaneous Synchronous capabilities. This includes section editing which makes it very easy to edit native or imported geometry using a 2D cross section. You will also learn about polygon relationships and the ability to easily edit certain types of geometry such as cylinders, cones, spheres and torus using on screen edit handles.

Part Modelling - Part Nine - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at Synchronous part modelling. This is the ninth session which will focus on how Solid Edge is able to combine both traditional ordered modelling and Synchronous modelling techniques in the same file. We will look at some of the reasons we might want to consider doing this and how combined parts are handled. You will also learn about the different ways a traditional model can be fully or partially converted into a Synchronous part and take advantage of the benefits that this offers. This session will allow you determine whether ordered or Synchronous is the most appropriate design tool to use depending on the task at hand.

Part Modelling - Part Ten - Synchronous Migration

The purpose of this Solid Edge video training session is to continue looking at some Synchronous part modelling workflows. This is the tenth part modelling session which covers how to create simplified parts, families of parts and divided parts all within the context of the Synchronous mode. This is all functionality which is also available within the ordered mode but there are various aspects that are quite different when working within the Synchronous environment. This session will focus on these differences and the considerations that need to be made.
