Change a sheet metal flange to a partial flange
Question
I have created a full width flange in a sheet metal part and would like to change it to a partial width flange.
Answer
This can be done by editing the profile of the flange feature in question. Once in the profile simply remove the connect relationships on the lines which create the sides of the flange where they are connected to the part. Then move the lines into the desired locations (with dimensions if necessary) and finish the feature.
