1. In an animation I am trying to make a component move to a position and become invisible, then return to its original position and become visible again. I have made a motor and added an appearance for the first stage and the component moves to the position and disappears. How do I create the event that makes the component visible again?

2. Whilst positioning parts within an assembly, I can place and define relationships between parts and they position OK but when I then look in the PathFinder the part remains under constrained and there are no relationships present. Why is this?

3. I have an assembly that I would like to drive through a range of motion with a Motor. How do I add a motor to the assembly?

4. I have an assembly that contains a part that has only two assembly constraints applied to it and as such is under constrained. However the move part command is not available in order to move that part in its degrees of freedom. The command appears to be greyed out. Why is this?

25. I have one Solid Edge machine that seems to display parts within assemblies in different colours compared to when the same assemblies are opened on other machines. For example a part may be defined as Gold and is seen as Gold when opened up on all machines apart from this one machine experiencing the problem where the part will be cyan. It appears to be restricted to parts that have faces coloured by using Part painter.

26. I need to send an assembly (via SAT) to a customer but I do not want to send all the detail too. I need the assembly to be simplified, how can this be done?

27. I have created an exploded view configuration in assembly. Since the configuration has been saved, two new parts have been added to the assembly. How can you add the 2 new parts to the existing exploded configuration?

28. I have copied some parts which need modifying for a completely new job. When opening the parts - Solid Edge warns that there are links to the original assembly they were designed in. How can I remove the links to this assembly?

29. There is a PMI dimension displaying the distance between two holes in an assembly. There are now some parts obscuring the original location of the dimension text. How can you move the dimension over to the other side of the model so that the text is more clearly visible?
