Showing the bend lines in Sheet Metal flat pattern
Question
I have a sheet metal part containing a conical bend. In the flat pattern drawing view I would like to show the extents of the bend as well as the bend centre lines. Can this be done?
Answer
The bend extents are hidden on orthogonal views by default because they are defined as tangent edges. They can be turned on by right clicking on the drawing view and choosing the properties command. Then on the display tab ensure the Tangent edges display box is checked on.
