Placing a cutaway view in a drawing
Question
Can I save a part cutaway view of an assembly, so that it shows as a cutaway view when viewed as an isometric view in a draft file?
Answer
When you place the ISO view in the draft file you need to make sure you place it as a DRAFT quality view (first page on the drawing view wizard). Once the view is on the sheet you will then need to right click on it and select properties. On the resulting dialogue you will now find a Cutaway tab where you can choose which cutaway views you turn on. Finally just update the view to see the results.
