Out of Date Links in Drawing Views
Question
I have some dark grey corners around my drawing views and would like to know what they are for and how to get rid of them.
Answer
The dark grey corners around the views indicate that part or assembly contains some out of date links. The Tools Drawing View Tracker command will give full instructions on how to fix them. Follow the instruction and open up the assemblies in the order suggested in the dialogue, then make sure all parts are activated, then hit update all links, save and close. The the drawing views may then need updating but the out of date links notification should disappear.
