Adjustable Parts

Training Objectives  Training Objectives

Adjustable parts are useful for any part model that changes shape or size in some manner when it is assembled. Common examples of adjustable parts include items such as ribbon cables, ‘o’ rings, rubber gaiters and springs. The Adjustable Part functionality in Solid Edge allows the same part to be placed multiple times on any design whilst each time using the assembly to control the adjustable parameters in the part. This Solid Edge video tutorial will focus on creating and using Adjustable Parts in a Solid Edge assembly.
