Pre Register ST4 Node Locked Licenses

This How To training session focuses on the steps required to pre register your Solid Edge ST4 license files prior to the product being released and shipped to end users. Solid Edge ST4 will no longer just use the workstation 'Disk Serial' number to authorise node locked licenses. Instead a more secure method of using what is now called the Solid Edge Composite Host ID will be used. Standard Parts Installation

Solid Edge Standard Parts is a powerful parts management system that allows designers to quickly and efficiently place standard components from a central library enabling the rapid and precise completion of assemblies. Prior to Version 18, Solid Edge shipped with a free complement of standard parts to illustrate what was available in the add-on libraries. Two such libraries were available. The machinery library catered for items such as fasteners and bearings whilst the Piping library contained pipe fittings that could be used in conjunction with the XpresRoute piping application. Both add-on libraries used to be additional cost items. However from version 18 onwards Solid Edge has included the full Machinery Library with every license of Solid Edge Classic. This ‘How To’ covers the steps required for configuring a centralised installation of the Machinery Library.
