The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Drafting update video tutorial is to cover the enhancements to the Drafting environment. In this session you will learn about the drafting interface changes, the retrieval of PMI annotations, detail view enhancements, weld symbols, surface texture symbols, class fit dimensions, parts lists and much more.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to provide an introduction to the rest of the surfacing training sessions. We will look at the differences between solid and surface modelling and discuss why surface modelling would be used in certain circumstances. We will also look at a typical steps used in a surface modelling workflow.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to focus on some of the creation and editing techniques for 2d curves. One command that is used extensively when constructing aesthetic surfaces is the B-Splne curve. As such we’ll be focusing on the curve command during this session. Additionally we will look at how sketches can be connected together, geometry converted into curves and using the BlueDot command to connect disjoint sketch and curve elements.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to focus on the creation of 3D curves both by using direct and indirect methods. You will learn about all the curve creation commands found on the Surfacing ribbon in Solid Edge and much more.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to build on the curve creation techniques discussed in the previous sessions and focus on the physical creation surfaces. You will learn how to use all of the surface creation commands that are found on the surfacing ribbon in Solid Edge and much more.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to build on both the curve creation surface creation techniques discussed in the previous sessions and focus on the ability to edit and manipulate the surfaces in order to construct and achieve the desired design results. You will also learn how to use the surface tools to assist in the creation of the solid model.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to finish off the training sessions by covering some of the curve and surface analysis tools available in Solid Edge. Using these will help you to focus on creating smooth flowing surfaces for a better design.

The purpose of this Solid Edge ST2 Surfacing session is to complete the training by running through an example that uses some of the workflows and techniques covered in all the surfacing sessions. You will create an example part from scratch using surfacing techniques. This will include the initial 2D curves and sketches, 3D curves, surface creation, stitcting surfaces to form a solid body and performing a divide part.
