The purpose of this module is to introduce you to the basic process of constructing a 3D parametric solid model. You will learn how to evaluate the basic shape of a part which helps in deciding which tools need to be used in order to construct it's geometry as well as which reference planes are best used in order to control the parts orientation and take advantage of symmetry.

The purpose of this module is to continue looking at the sketching tools available in Solid Edge and build on the concepts covered in the first two sessions. This time you will learn how to define a formula between different sketch dimensions as well as drive a Solid Edge design using an Excel spreadsheet.

The purpose of this module is to introduce some of the part modelling tools and profile based features. You will learn how to use some of the more basic features such as extrude and revolve along with their options. As well as the helix, loft and sweep commands. The unique Solid Edge concept of open profiles will also be introduced and you will learn how to edit parametric features.
