The purpose of this module is to introduce the Solid Edge FREE 2D product. You will be exploring the Solid Edge interface and learning where the different commands are located as well as how the environment can be customised.
The purpose of this module is to cover the geometry creation, editing and manipulation tools in the Solid Edge FREE 2D product. This session will look at the tools in detail and explain how to use each command.
The purpose of this module is to expand on the drawing creation tools covered already and start to look at the dimension tools and geometric constraints. This is specifically with a view to being able to parametrically drive the 2D geometry. This is a capability which sets Solid Edge FREE 2D apart from most other 2D CAD systems.
The purpose of this module is to expand on the drawing creation and dimension tools covered already and focus on the workflow for creating a 2D drawing from scratch. You will learn about the 2D Model concept and how to place scaled views of a full size drawing onto the working sheet as well as the annotation and table commands.
The purpose of this Solid Edge 2D drafting session is to introduce the concept of drawing templates. You will be guided through the creation of drawing templates with custom background sheets, styles and settings.
The purpose of this Solid Edge 2D drafting session is to introduce the concept of using Goal Seek to find solutions by permorming 2D engineering calculations. In this session you will be guided through the the Goal Seek capability and use it to iterate a 2d design in order to arrive at a given solution.
The purpose of this Solid Edge 2D drafting session is to introduce the concept of schematic diagram creation. Solid Edge Diagramming allows you to develop electrical, P&ID and other diagrams by leveraging industry-standard libraries of 2D blocks and quickly connecting them together with associative connectors. This session will focus on the main components that make Solid Edge Diagramming so productive such as blocks, connectors, standard block libraries and the ability to convert native DWG blocks on the fly.
The purpose of this module is to provide you with a full understanding of the user interface for Solid Edge with Synchronous Technology. This version saw a brand new interface based on the Microsoft Office 2007 (Fluent) standard. The training session will walk you through all aspects of the new interface and provide you with the tools to start using this new version effectively.
The purpose of this module is to provide you with an understanding of the changes to the way templates are now handled in Solid Edge ST. The training session will walk you through all aspects of template management.
The purpose of this module is to provide you with an understanding of all aspects of the interface within a Synchronous design environment. The training session will introduce the new tools available when constructing and editing Synchronous part models and will provide sufficient knowledge to move forwards with the rest of the training material.
